About the Foodwriting Encyclo

This blog is a gathering place for anything and everything we call ‘foodwriting’.

The works will be global, inclusive, and open to suggestions by readers.

All works will be copyright-free or provided as links. When a work is not available online, a summary will be provided.

Over time, I hope our readers will have the opportunity to develop a wide knowledge of the field of ‘foodwriting’: what it is, what it might not be, what they like and what they don’t like.

This is an informal collection, open to conversation and discussion.

I hope to gather the largest and most diverse collection of foodwriting and voices in foodwriting on the planet.

At the moment, we’re just gathering as much writing by classic foodwriters as possible – but in the future there will possibly be interviews, open submissions of work by foodwriters for small prizes, and other ideas implemented.
